# Editing Client Accounts

![The Accounts Tab](https://2551497454-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbWd08bYtHMw1HqDKFpBf%2Fuploads%2FeeANWiJ3tjr3suLco60f%2Faccounts_company_blurred_2.png?alt=media\&token=ddb1bd45-3ffd-41b2-ba43-6e9c20f35462)

## Editing Account Details

Click on the **Edit** icon on the left side of any account to edit the account details.

You will now see six tabs in which you can edit the details of the account (if all are enabled).

### Required Fields

**Internal account users**

There are no required fields when editing internal account users except for **Username** in the **Account Setup** tab.

**External account users**

When creating an external account user for the first time, the only required field is their email address in the **Account Setup** tab. Once an external account user has accepted an invite and signed up:

* The **First Name** and **Last Name** in the **Profile** tab must be filled in.
* In the **Profile** tab, if **Company** is selected for **VAT/Tax Type**, a **Company Name** must be entered.
* In the **Payments Settings** tab (if enabled), once a **Payment Type** is selected, the details for it must be filled in.

{% hint style="info" %}
You will see error messages in the top right when you click **UPDATE ACCOUNT** if you have not filled in any required fields. The required fields are marked in red.
{% endhint %}

### Account Setup

![The Account Setup](https://2551497454-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbWd08bYtHMw1HqDKFpBf%2Fuploads%2FdY8P9gQ9mPi3yn9VTQ5I%2Fsaas-accounts-account-setup1.png?alt=media\&token=0592636d-04c0-4b52-89bc-8776bf6aa09e)

* You can use the switch to change the user from an external to an internal account user.
* You can edit the email of the user here, and resend the invitation email if necessary.
* Use the **Account Manager** drop-down to choose an account manager to assign the account to. You will also see other admin users listed here (Super Administrator, Agent, Administrator) and can assign the account to them too.
* You can add or delete labels associated with this account to help you categorize it.

### Profile

![The Profile Tab](https://2551497454-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbWd08bYtHMw1HqDKFpBf%2Fuploads%2FuteDobZCa75k9K3u0fxl%2Fsaas-accounts-profile.png?alt=media\&token=c11522d8-2530-4539-bf3f-ccc83dfd841a)

In this tab you can edit the **First Name** and **Last Name** (both mandatory) of the user, their phone number and address.

* **Fraud**: The account has been archived for fraud.

* **Inactivity**: There has been no activity on the account for some time.

### Payments Settings

{% hint style="info" %}
This tab is only available when payments are enabled.
{% endhint %}

![Payments Settings](https://2551497454-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbWd08bYtHMw1HqDKFpBf%2Fuploads%2FjTmtLGI4aiTvjGc6dN17%2Fsaas-accounts-payments-settings.png?alt=media\&token=2eceddd6-3117-474c-b1de-3a0b2bbb42db)

#### Publisher Payments

* **Payment Mode**: Set whether payment to the Publisher is automatic or manual. Automatic payments will generate invoices automatically on a Weekly or Monthly basis and as chosen by the Publisher:
  * Weekly invoices are generated on Mondays for the previous week's revenue.
  * Monthly invoices are generated on the first day of the following month for revenue generated in the previous month.
* **Payment Type**: Set the payment type which the Publisher will use, e.g. **PayPal**, **Wire Transfer**, etc. Once you select a **Payment Type**, you can then enter the details for the payment type, and then set your **Minimum Payout**, **Payment Frequency** and **Payment Currency**:
* **Minimum Payout**: Set the threshold above which the Publisher will get a payout.
* **Payment Frequency**: Set whether automatic payments are generated weekly or monthly.
  * This setting only affects **Automatic** payments.
* **Payment Currency**: Set the currency that the Publisher wants to be paid, USD or EUR.
  * This allows Publishers to have their invoices generated and paid in the currency of their choice (USD or EUR) instead of the currency of their Admin Panel (the one set at your account level).
  * This is not applicable for Cryptocurrency Payments, as Payments for Cryptocurrency is done only in USD.

{% hint style="info" %}
A default **Payment Terms** value is selected based on what **Payment Frequency** is chosen. **Payment Terms** is how long after the invoice issue date the account will receive payments. When **Payment Frequency** is set to **Weekly**, the **Payment Terms** will default to 7 days. For **Monthly**, the **Payment Terms** will default to 20 days.
{% endhint %}

Additionally, Super Administrator, Administrator or Finance users can customize this value per account.

These defaults can be changed at any time and by Payment Type. Please contact your EXADS representative to change these default values.

#### Advertiser Payments

* **Credit Limit**: Enable this to allow the account to go into arrears by the amount you select from the drop-down.
* **Payment Type Limit (30 Days)**: Use this to set a limit on how much funds new Advertisers can add via Payment Type selected in a 30 day period.
  * You can use this limit with new, untested Advertisers, and then raise it later when they have proved trustworthy.

Most of the features available in this section are also similar to the main CRM tab. Documentation regarding the CRM feature is [here](/ad-server/saas-crm-tab.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.exads.com/ad-server/accounts/saas-network-edit-client.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
